Found this in an advertisement in Real Simple Magazine and thought I'd give it a try. It's simple and the whole family enjoyed it. I used Trader Joes pizza dough instead and sprinkled parmesan cheese on top before putting in the oven.

25 ounces spaghetti sauce, one jar
1 lb ground beef
2 cups mozzarella cheese
10 ounces frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and squeezed dry
1 refrigerated pizza dough

Steps:

  • Brown ground beef in skillet, drain.
  • Stir in spaghetti sauce and bring to a boil.
  • Turn into 2 quart baking dish.
  • Top with broccoli.
  • Top with cheese.
  • Press dough over top, sealing edges.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden and let set for 10 minutes.

1 package (10 oz.) frozen chopped broccoli OR spinach, thawed and squeezed dry (optional)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (about 8 oz.)
1 can (13.8 oz.) refrigerated pizza dough
1 lb. ground beef
1 jar (1 lb. 10 oz.) Ragu® Old World Style® Sweet Tomato Basil Smooth Pasta Sauce

Steps:

  • 1.Preheat oven to 375°. Brown ground beef in 12-inch nonstick skillet; drain and season, if desired, with salt and ground black pepper. Stir in Pasta Sauce and bring to a boil; turn into 2-quart deep dish pie plate or baking dish. 2.Top with broccoli, then cheese. Place pizza dough over dish, sealing edges tightly. 3.Bake 20 minutes or until crust is golden. Let stand 10 minutes.

This is a delicious dish to get your kids or picky husband to eat brocoli without fuss.

1 jar(s) spaghetti sauce
1 lb lean ground beef
1 can(s) mushrooms drained
1 can(s) sliced black olives drained
2 c mozzerella cheese
1 can(s) refridgerated pizza dough
1 pkg frozen brocoli (steamed packs best)
sprinkle of garlic salt

Steps:

  • 1. Brown and crumble ground beef. Season with salt and pepper.
  • 2. Heat brocoli in steam pack per directions on package (if using regular brocoli thaw and squeeze out extra water). Drain water from steam bag by cutting a small corner off package.
  • 3. Mix in sauce, mushrooms, and olives into beef.
  • 4. in 9 x 9 pan place brocoli spread out in bottom of pan.
  • 5. next sprinkle lightly with garlic salt. layer the beef mixture on top.
  • 6. Next smooth a layer of mozzerella. Top off with refridgerated pizza dough press into edges to seal.
  • 7. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 mins. untill crust is golden brown. Let stand 10 mins.
