1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and halved, plus 4 strawberries, hulled and chopped
3 tablespoons strawberry jam
2 tablespoons agave syrup
Juice of 1/2 lemon
2/3 cup milk
6 tablespoons cream cheese, room temperature
3 cups good-quality strawberry ice cream

Steps:

  • In a blender, combine the 1 pound strawberries with the strawberry jam, agave, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth, 20 to 30 seconds, then transfer to a container. (The strawberry sauce can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.)
  • In the blender, combine 1 cup of the strawberry sauce with the milk, cream cheese, ice cream and the remaining 4 strawberries. Blend on high speed until smooth.
  • For each serving, add 1/4 cup of the remaining strawberry sauce to a 12-ounce glass; swirl the sauce around base of glass. Fill to the top with the ice cream mixture. Drink immediately.

1 (12 ounce) package frozen unsweetened strawberries, thawed
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 quart strawberry ice cream
strawberry cream soda (or regular)
whipped cream (optional)
maraschino cherry (optional)

Steps:

  • In blender, combine strawberries, cream cheese, vanilla, half the ice cream and a 1/2 cup of the cream soda.
  • Cover and blend til smooth.
  • Divide blended mixture among 6 tall (16 oz.) glasses.
  • Add a scoop of the remaining ice cream to each glass.
  • Top each glass with more cream soda. Garnish with whipped cream and a cherry!

3 tablespoons cheesecake mix, powder from cheesecake kit
canned whipped cream
2 teaspoons graham cracker crumbs, from cheesecake kit

Steps:

  • Combine milk, ice cream, strawberries and cheesecake mix in a blender and mix on high speed until smooth.
  • Pour into two 12-ounce glasses.
  • Garnish the top with a squirt of whipped cream from a can and about a teaspoon of graham cracker crumbs from the cheesecake kit.
  • Serve.

2 tablespoon strawberry-flavored or regular milk
6 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
1/12 piece cooled unfrosted white cake, cut into chunks (from 13x9-inch pan)*
Graham cracker crumbs, if desired
Sliced fresh strawberries, if desired

Steps:

  • In blender, place ice cream and milk. Cover and blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. Add cream cheese, powdered sugar and cake chunks; cover and blend until smooth, stopping blender to scrape down sides if necessary.
  • Pour into 2 glasses; top with graham cracker crumbs and sliced strawberries. Serve immediately.
