"My mom discovered this easy recipe 30 years ago when she was a newlywed," says Susan Burkett of Monroeville, Pennsylvania. "Now that my sister and I share a house, it's a staple for us, too. We like them with baked beans and salad."

1 can (6 ounces) tuna, drained
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
Dash hot pepper sauce
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese, divided
2 English muffins, split and toasted
Dash paprika

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the first five ingredients; stir in 2/3 cup cheese. Spread over each muffin half; sprinkle with remaining cheese and paprika. Place on a baking sheet. Broil 3-4 in. from the heat for 2-4 minutes or until lightly browned and cheese is melted.

1 (2 1/2 ounce) package tuna in water (Envelope Pouch )
1 tablespoon yellow mustard (zero calorie)
1 -2 small garlic dill pickle (zero calorie, chopped)
1/8 cup fresh spinach leaves
1 slice sargento swiss cheese
1 whole wheat bun
1/8 teaspoon salt or 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Mix tuna, mustard, pickles, salt, & pepper together until well combined.
  • Place slice of swiss on top of tuna mixture and microwave on high for 30 secs or until cheese is melted over the top.
  • Toast the bun, add a bit more mustard and the spinach leaves to the base of the toasted bread. Remove tuna melt from microwave and carefully slide on the toasted bun. Top with remaining thin sandwich bread slice.
  • Serve Warm.
