TROPICAL SLOW-COOKER DUMP CAKE
Who knew that your slow-cooker could give you an authentic taste of the Islands? Toss five simple ingredients together for this tropical treat.

Steps:
- Spray 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Reserve 1/2 cup fruit juice from fruit salad; pour remaining juice and fruit into slow cooker.
- In small bowl, stir cornstarch into reserved fruit juice until cornstarch is completely dissolved. Pour cornstarch mixture into slow cooker; stir to combine.
- Sprinkle brown sugar over fruit. Sprinkle cake mix over fruit. Cut butter in small pieces; place evenly over cake mix.
- Cover; cook on Low heat setting 3 hours or until cake is set when lightly touched in center.
- Spoon warm cake into dessert bowls; spoon fruit mixture over cake.

Steps:
- Grease 9 by 13 inch baking pan.
- Dump into pan and spread evenly in this order: cherry pie filling, undrained pineapple, dry cake mix.
- Arrange pieces of butter on top.
- Pour 1/2 cup melted butter over cake mix.
- Top with 1 cup flaked coconut and 1 cup chopped pecans.
- DO NOT MIX!
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour.

- 1. Preheat oven to 350. Dump both of the fruits and their juices into a 9x12 pyrex baking dish. Pour the dry cake mix on top of the fruit and spread out evenly.
- 2. Mix oatmeal, coconut and sprinkle over cake mix with fingers. Melt butter and pour on top evenly. It should cover the entire cake mix. Bake for 1 hour and serve with ice cream.

Pinched from facebook posting to my page. Yummy. This cake is crunchy on top and wet on the bottom so a cake tester doesn't work well. One hour baking was perfect. Already a family favorite. My first orange cake tried!

- 1. Preheat oven to 350
- 2. Dump both of the fruits & their juices into a 9 x 12 Pyrex baking dish. I cut the larger pieces up
- 3. Pour the dry cake mix on top of the fruit & spread out evenly
- 4. Mix oatmeal & coconut & sprinkle over cake mixture with fingers.
- 5. Melt butter & pour on top evenly. It should cover the entire cake mix.
- 6. Bake for one hour & serve with ice cream.
- 7. (Note: I used a small pkg of instant apple cinnamon oatmeal..yummy)
