FROSTED TRIPLE ORANGE SQUARES

Delicious, very orangey tasting, tastes light and refreshing in the summer. Always a hit at all occasions!!!

2 cups boiling water
1 (6 ounce) box orange Jell-O
6 ounces frozen orange juice
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple
1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained
1 cup whipping cream
1 (3 ounce) box instant lemon pudding
1 cup milk

Steps:

  • Dissolve jello in boiling water.
  • Stir in frozen OJ, mix until thawed.
  • Stir in undrained pineapple.
  • Chill in bowl until partially set, approximately 1- 1 1/2 hours.
  • Gently fold in drained oranges, and pour into 13 X 9 pan.
  • Chill until firm.
  • Beat whipping cream until soft peaks form.
  • Set aside.
  • Beat pudding and milk until smooth, gently fold in whipping cream.
  • Frost top of jello with whipped cream and pudding mixture.
  • Chill until firm.

1 (3 ounce) box any flavor Jello gelatin
1 1/2 cups boiling water
1 (8 ounce) container of frozen Cool Whip

Steps:

  • Stir boiling water into JELL-O in a bowl until dissolved.
  • Add 2/3 of frozen COOL WHIP to same bowl one spoonful at a time, whisking until it is melted and blended.
  • Pour into small clear drinking glasses.
  • Refrigerate at least 3 hours, until set.
  • Top layered dessert with remaining whipped topping and ENJOY!

Cereal is the sweet surprise in a dreamy dessert with fat-free yogurt and strawberries.

1 cup boiling water
1 box (4-serving size) wild strawberry-flavored gelatin
2/3 cup Yoplait® 99% Fat Free creamy strawberry or creamy vanilla yogurt (from 2-lb container)
3 cups Kix® cereal
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 1/2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
9 fresh strawberries, sliced into fans

Steps:

  • In medium bowl, pour boiling water on gelatin; stir until gelatin is dissolved. Stir in yogurt until melted and smooth. Cover; refrigerate about 1 hour 30 minutes or until thickened but not set.
  • Meanwhile, heat oven to 350°F. Place cereal in food-storage plastic bag; crush with rolling pin to make 1 cup. In small bowl, stir cereal and butter until well mixed. Press mixture firmly in bottom of ungreased 8-inch square pan. Bake 10 minutes or until crust is light golden brown. Set aside to cool.
  • Beat gelatin mixture with electric mixer on high speed 7 to 8 minutes or until doubled in volume. Fold in sliced strawberries; pour over crust. Cover; refrigerate about 1 hour or until firm.
  • To serve, cut dessert into squares. Garnish each serving with strawberry fan.
