- Onto each toothpick, place one piece of sausage, one cherry, one olive and one cube of cheese. Arrange them neatly on a plate. Eat the entire contents of the toothpick at once, but don't eat the toothpick!

- Cut sausages diagonally into 1/2 inch slices; cook in a skillet over medium heat until lightly browned.
- Place sausages in the slow cooker; discard drippings.
- Add dressings, sugar, and juice to skillet; cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
- Pour over sausages.
- Heat on low for 1-2 hours or until heated through.
BACON-WRAPPED COCKTAIL SAUSAGES

Steps:
- Heat 2 inches vegetable oil in a large wide pot over medium-high heat until a deep-fry thermometer registers 360˚. Wrap each sausage with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Bring the preserves and barbecue sauce to a simmer in a small saucepan. Keep warm over low heat.
- Set a rack on a rimmed baking sheet. Working in batches, add the sausages to the hot oil and fry until the bacon is browned and crisp, 3 to 4 minutes. Remove to the prepared baking sheet using a slotted spoon. Return the oil to 360˚ between batches.
- Remove the toothpicks and toss the sausages with the pineapple barbecue sauce.

Steps:
- Crunch up the rosemary and thyme using fingers.
- Place all ingredients, except shrimp and french bread, in a large pot.
- Simmer this mixture for 2 1/2 hours.
- Five minutes before serving add shrimp and cook about 3-4 minutes or until shrimp is done.
- Serve shrimp with broth and toasted French bread for sopping the broth.
