TEQUILA LEMON-LIME COOLER

2 cups silver tequila, such as Lunazul, chilled
1 cup fresh lemon juice, chilled
1 cup fresh lime juice, chilled
2/3 cup light agave nectar
Ice, for serving
Lemon and lime slices, for serving

Steps:

  • Stir the tequila, lemon juice, lime juice and agave in a large pitcher until completely combined. Chill until ready to serve.
  • To serve, stir ice and lemon and lime slices into the pitcher. Pour over ice-filled rocks glasses and top with some of the lemon and lime slices.

6 ounces (3/4 cup) homemade lemonade or purchased lemonade*
2 ounces (1/4 cup) tequila
Ice, for serving (try clear ice)
Fresh mint, for garnish

Steps:

  • In a glass, pour in the lemonade and tequila. Add ice and garnish with fresh mint.
  • Mix 6 cups lemonade with 2 cups tequila. Add ice and serve.

TEQUILA LEMON CHICKEN BREAST

1/2 liter tequila
10 lemons
Olive oil
Salt and pepper
10 boneless chicken breasts
Dried tarragon
Dried rosemary
1 or 2 large plastic containers (recommended: Tupperware)

Steps:

  • Pour tequila into the plastic containers. Squeeze juice from 10 or more lemons into the containers. Add some olive oil, and salt and pepper. Place the chicken breasts in the marinade and let marinate overnight in the refrigerator. The next day, preheat grill to high and place chicken breasts on grill. Prepare bowl of olive oil mixed with tarragon and rosemary, to taste, and brush onto chicken while grilling. Cook each side for about 10 to 15 minutes each.
