1/2 cup brewed hibiscus tea
4 tablespoons tequila, reposado preferred
1 to 2 tablespoons superfine sugar
1 lemon, juiced
1 lime, juiced, plus 1 wedge for garnish
1 orange, juiced
Ice, for serving

Steps:

  • Place the hibiscus tea, tequila, superfine sugar, lemon juice, lime juice and orange juice in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and pour in a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy.

  • Mix 6 cups lemonade with 2 cups tequila. Add ice and serve.

1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup lightly packed mint sprigs, plus more for serving
6 cups peeled, chopped watermelon
1/3 cup fresh lime juice
1 ounce tequila (optional)

Steps:

  • In a small heatproof bowl, pour 1/2 cup boiling water over sugar and mint; stir until sugar has dissolved. Let cool completely, about 20 minutes. Strain syrup into a blender; discard mint.
  • Add watermelon, lime juice, and 1 3/4 cups cold water; blend until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve.
  • Serve over ice, garnished with a mint sprig, or refrigerate in an airtight container up to 3 days. If using tequila, stir a shot (1-ounce) into each glass before serving.

1 cup fresh lemon juice, chilled
1 cup fresh lime juice, chilled
2/3 cup light agave syrup
lemon and lime slice (for serving)

Steps:

  • Stir tequila, lemon juice, lime juice and syrup in a large pitcher until completely combined. Chill until ready to serve. For serving, stir ice, lemon and lime slices into pitcher. Pour over ice-filled rocks glasses and top with lemon and lime slices.
  • Do ahead: Cocktail can be made 8 hours ahead. Cover pitcher and chill. Add ice, lemon and lime slices just before serving.
