This pie is best if under-baked and a bit gooey like a brownie inside. This is a very rich pie, so small slices are advised.

½ cup butter, melted
¾ cup chocolate chips
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
½ cup flaked coconut
¼ cup chocolate chips
1 (9 inch) deep dish pie crust

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C.)
  • In a large bowl, pour warm melted butter over 3/4 cup chocolate chips. Stir until smooth. Mix together flour, brown sugar, and white sugar, then stir into chocolate mixture. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Fold in pecans, coconut, and 1/4 cup chocolate chips. Pour into pie crust.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes. Top should be set, and may crack slightly, but the pie is best if under-baked.

1 c chocolate chips
1 stick unsalted butter, melted
1 c chopped pecans
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c all-purpose flour
1/2 c white sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
2 eggs
1 refrigerated pie crust

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350
  • 2. Pour warm butter over chocolate chips & stir.
  • 3. Blend rest of ingredients together and stir into chocolate chip mixture.
  • 4. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake for 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

1 pie crust
1 stick unsalted butter, melted
1 C chocolate chips
1/2 C granulated sugar
1/2 C light brown sugar
1/3 C flour
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp instant coffee ( try a little less)
1/4 tsp kosher salt 1 C pecans
Whipped cream for serving

Steps:

  • Place uncooked pie crust into bottom of small pie plate Melt the butter in large saucepan. Add chocolate and stir until smooth. Add sugars, flour, eggs, vanilla, coffee, and salt. Mix to combine Add pecans and stir slightly Pour into pie crust and bake until set 30-35 mins @ 350 degrees Let stand for at least 1 hour

Very rich and decadent, found this inside one of my mother's magazines. I played a little with the recipe, I mixed in approximately 1/4 cup unmelted chocolate chips just to make the taste an adventure. You will want a pot of fresh coffee to serve with this pie.

1 stick butter, unsalted
1/4 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c granulated sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c flour
3 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 Tbsp instant coffee granules
1/4 tsp salt
1 c pecans, chopped
1 refridgerated pie crust

Steps:

  • 1. Melt butter. Place chocolate chips in large bowl and pour warm butter over top. Stir until smooth
  • 2. Add in rest of ingredients except for pecans. Mix together and then fold in pecans.
  • 3. Pour mixture into pie crust and bake at 350 until filling sets, about 35 to 40 minutes
  • 4. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream

12 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 pint whipping cream
1 1/2 medium bananas, sliced
1 (9-inch) deep-dish pie shell, baked

Blueberry Glaze:
1 package frozen blueberries
1/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch

Steps:

  • Mix softened cream cheese with sugar. Whip cream until stiff peaks form. Carefully fold cream into cheese mixture and mix until thoroughly blended. Slice bananas and place in bottom and sides of pie shell. Pour cheese mixture over bananas and chill until firm. Blueberry Glaze: Combine all ingredients and cook over low heat until thick. Be careful not to break up the berries. Cool to room temperature. Spoon Glaze evenly over cheese mixture and chill several hours or overnight.

1/2 - recipe standard pie dough or 1 store bought refrigerated rolled pie crust
1 stick(s) unsalted butter (melted)
1 cup(s) semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup(s) granulated sugar
1/2 cup(s) packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup(s) all purpose flour
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon(s) pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon(s) instant coffee granules
1/4 teaspoon(s) kosher salt
1 cup(s) pecans (roughly chopped)
- whipped cream, for serving

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350F. On a lightly floured surface, roll a disk of dough into a 12-in circle. Fit it into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-in pie plate. Trim the dough so that the overhang is even all the way around (about 1/2-in from the edge of the pie plate). Fold the overhang under itself to create a thicker rim of dough and crimp as desired, Refrigerate until ready to fill.
  • Melt the butter. Place the chocolate in a large bowl and pour the warm butter on top; stir until smooth. Add the granulated sugar and brown sugars, flour, eggs, vanilla, coffee, and salt and mix to combine. Stir in the pecans
  • Pour the chocolate mixture into the pie crust and bake until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown,30 to 35 minutes. Let stand for at least 1 hour before serving. Serve with whipped cream , if desired.
