6 hard-boiled large eggs
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 to 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
1/2 teaspoon dill weed
1/4 teaspoon ground mustard
1/8 teaspoon salt
Dash pepper
Dash paprika

Steps:

  • Cut eggs in half lengthwise. Remove yolks; set whites aside. In a bowl, mash the yolks. Add mayonnaise, horseradish, dill, mustard, salt and pepper; mix well. Pipe or spoon into egg whites. Sprinkle with paprika. Refrigerate until serving.

Deviled eggs are a party classic. The addition of a little horseradish to the traditional deviled egg filling gives the dish a spicy twist.

10 hard-boiled eggs
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish , or to taste
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1 dash hot sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste
Garnish: paprika
Garnish: sliced chives

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Peel and cut the eggs in half lengthwise, then scoop out the yolks into a medium bowl. Arrange the whites, cut-side up, on a serving platter.
  • Using a fork, mash the yolks with the mayonnaise, horseradish, mustard, vinegar, hot sauce until the mixture is almost smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste. If the mixture seems dry, add a touch more mayo.
  • Using a spoon or pastry bag fitted with a star tip, generously fill the holes in the egg halves with the yolk mixture.
  • Sprinkle the tops with paprika and chives, if using. Chill well before serving.

The horseradish gives these deviled eggs a little extra kick. Great party platter.

12 xlarge - hard boiled eggs, peeled , halved with yoke removed set aside in mixing bowl
1 heaping tablespoon(s) hot horseradish (or horseradish of your choice)
1/2 cup(s) mayonnaise ( you can substitite w/ salad dressing )
l level teaspoon(s) dry yellow mustard (more or less, your choice)
- salt and pepper according to taste
- note: add more or less mayo accordingly

Steps:

  • In small mixing bowl cream together egg yokes, horseradish, mayo, yellow mustard, salt and pepper.
  • Using a tablespoon(or piping bag) fill each egg white half with egg mixture. Place on serving platter .. keep in refrigerator covered until ready to serve. Garnish with sprinkled paprika if desired.
  • Note: recipe can be easily doubled

12 eggs
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill
½ teaspoon dry mustard
¼ teaspoon salt
⅛ teaspoon pepper
⅛ teaspoon paprika

Steps:

  • Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil; remove from heat and let eggs stand in hot water for 15 minutes. Remove eggs and cool under cold running water; peel eggs. Slice each egg in half lengthwise. Remove yolks and transfer to a medium bowl. Place egg whites on a serving platter.
  • Mash yolks with a fork. Stir in mayonnaise, horseradish, dill, dry mustard, salt, pepper, and paprika. Spoon equal amounts into egg whites.
