3 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
3 cups Corn Chex™ cereal
2 cups bite-size cheese crackers
2 cups bite-size pretzel twists
1 cup salted peanuts
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons water
1 package (1 oz) Old El Paso™ taco seasoning mix

Steps:

  • In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals, crackers, pretzels and peanuts.
  • In small bowl, stir together oil, water and taco seasoning mix. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
  • Microwave uncovered on High about 5 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes, until mixture begins to brown. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool. Store in airtight container.

1 tablespoon Old El Paso™ original taco seasoning mix (from 1-oz package)
4 cups cheese popcorn

Steps:

  • In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals and crackers.
  • In small microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High about 30 seconds or until melted. Stir in taco seasoning mix until blended. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated.
  • Microwave uncovered on High 3 minutes, stirring after each minute. Spread on waxed paper to cool, about 30 minutes.
  • Stir in popcorn. Store covered at room temperature.

2 -3 tablespoons taco seasoning
1/4-1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
6 cups Chex cereal
1/4 cup parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Melt butter in 11-by-7-inch microwaveable pan for 60-70 seconds.
  • Add taco seasoning and salt.
  • Add Chex and microwave for a minute to a minute and a half.
  • Stir and sprinkle parmesan cheese on top and microwave for a minute.
  • Stir and microwave for another minute.
  • Cool.

1/4 cup water
two 1 oz. packages taco seasoning mix, reduced sodium
1 cup dry roasted peanuts, unsalted
5 cups Corn Chex
5 cups Rice Chex
2 cups corn tortilla chips, lightly salted
1 cup roasted plantain chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
  • Blend oil, water, and taco seasoning mix in large bowl; stir in peanuts until thoroughly coated.
  • add cereal and tortilla chips; stir until thoroughly coated.
  • Pour snack mixture into two 13x9" baking pans; bake for 45 minutes, stirring 3 times (every 15 minutes).
  • Sprinkle plaintain chips over both pans; return to oven for another 15 minutes. Remove from oven, cool and serve.
