- Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Set aside 1 cup pineapple and 6 tablespoons juice; refrigerate remaining pineapple and juice for another use. Dissolve bouillon in water. In a small bowl, combine the cornstarch, brown sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, bouillon and reserved juice until smooth; set aside., In a large skillet, saute the onion and green pepper in butter. Stir cornstarch mixture; stir into skillet. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Add the hot dogs and reserved pineapple; cook until heated through. Serve over rice.

This is a recipe I have used for years. It's always a crowd pleaser. I've had it so long that I don't recall where I got the recipe.

- 1. Stove Top Method 1. Cut weiners into bite-sized pieces. 2. In medium sauce pan, bring chili sauce, jelly and lemon juice to a boil, stirring constantly. 3. Add weiners and cook 10 minutes on medium heat. 4. Put in a chafing dish to serve.
- 2. Crock Pot Method: 1. Cut weiners into bite-sized pieces. 2. Mix chili sauce, jelly and lemon juice togehter in a crock pot. 3. Add weiners and stir to mix together. 4. Cook on low for 2 hours; stirring constantly. 5. Serve.

This is an easy dish that the kids will love, healthy too. Of course, the ingredient amounts can be changed to suit your taste. You can also add some soy sauce if you like. This dish is great served over rice or with some french bread

Steps:
- Cut the hot dogs into bite size pieces.
- Place the hot dogs and vegetable stock in a medium pot and bring to a boil on high, then reduce the heat and continue cooking.
- Add pineapple pieces to the pot.
- Use the juice from the pineapple to dilute the flour, then add to the hot dogs in the pot.
- Add Splenda, tomato puree, vinegar and ketchup and simmer together for 5 minutes.
