1-1/2 cups honey
1 cup white vinegar
3 eggs
2 containers (1-3/4 ounces each) ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
Pretzels, cooked chicken fingers or sausage slices

Steps:

  • In a blender, combine the first five ingredients; cover and process until blended. , Pour into a saucepan; cook and stir over low heat until mixture thickens and reaches 160°. Pour into small jars. Cover and refrigerate for up to 1 week. Serve with pretzels, chicken fingers or sausage.

1 cup mayonnaise (do not substitute Miricle Whip)
1/4 cup brown mustard
1/8 cup vegetable oil (or canola)
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 cup sugar

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients and whip until smooth (I use a sigle beater in my hand mixer).
  • Refigerate 1 hour before serving. Serve with pretzels.

My sister and I make this and give it away to our friends and neighbors. It is easy to make and it is versatile. I like to dip pretzels in it. But it also makes a really yummy spread for a ham sandwich.

4 oz coleman's dry mustard
1 c white vindgar
4 eggs
1 c granulated sugar

Steps:

  • 1. In small bowl, mix dry mustard and vinegar. Cover and set on counter for 6 hours.
  • 2. In a medium bowl bowl mix eggs and sugar with a whisk until thoroughly blended. Add mustard and vinegar mixture and stir to combine.
  • 3. Place all ingredients in top of double boiler over rapidly boiling water. Stir constantly until mixture is thickened. Cover and cool to room temperature. Refrigerate before using.

4 oz dry mustard
1 c white vinegar
1 c sugar
3 large eggs, beaten
1/2 c honey

Steps:

  • 1. Blend together mustard and vinegar and let it set out in a covered container over night.
  • 2. Next day, blend sugar and eggs until smooth. Then add the vinegar and mustard mixture, blend on low until smooth.
  • 3. Cook over low to medium high heat, stirring constantly until it comes to a rolling boil.
  • 4. Remove from heat, whisk in honey and let cool.
  • 5. Put in containers and refrigerate.
