6 cups popped popcorn (butter flavor)
8.8 oz box miniature peanut butter crackers
1 cup dry roasted peanuts
½ cup butter
½ cup light corn syrup
1 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp. Baking soda
11 oz bag of Halloween colors plain M&M's
11 oz bag of candy corn

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Prepare a large cookie sheet by greasing liberally with butter. Alternatively, line the cookie sheet with parchment paper and grease with butter.
  • Mix the popcorn, crackers and peanuts in a large bowl. Set aside.
  • Combine butter, corn syrup and sugar in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Stirring constantly, continue cooking for 5 minutes.
  • Add vanilla and baking soda (mixture will bubble). Mix well.
  • Pour sugar mixture over popcorn mixture and stir to coat ingredients.
  • Pour onto prepared pan and bake at 250 degrees for 45 minutes. Every 15 minutes remove pan from oven and stir.
  • Break mixture apart while still warm. Once cooled, add M&M's and candy corn. Toss to mix.
  • Store in an airtight container.

2 cups pretzel sticks
1 cup mixed nuts
1/2 cup sunflower kernels
6 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
8 cups popped popcorn
1 cup candy corn
1 cup chocolate bridge mix

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the pretzels, nuts and sunflower kernels. Combine the butter, cinnamon and cloves. Drizzle a third of butter mixture over pretzel mixture; toss to coat. Transfer to a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Bake at 300° for 15 minutes., Place popcorn in a large bowl; drizzle with remaining butter mixture and toss to coat. Stir into pretzel mixture. Bake 15 minutes longer or until heated through. Cool; transfer to a large bowl. Add candy corn and bridge mix; toss to combine.

Sweet and salty mix of cereal squares, dried fruit, and nuts, in a honey and spice glaze. Use whatever cereal you like, Crispex, all Corn or Rice Chex, or a combination. The fruit choice is also flexible - banana chips, dried cranberries, dried apples, dried mango, dried apricots, or a combination ; use what you have and what you like. You'll want to cut up the fruit to all about the size of a dried cranberry.

1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
6 -7 cups Chex cereal, see note
1 cup whole unbalanced almonds
1 cup coconut flakes
2 cups dried fruit, see note
1/2 teaspoon flaked sea salt (optional)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 250 deg;F Spray a large roasting pan with non-stick spray.
  • Combine cereal,nuts, and coconut in roasting pan. Set aside.
  • In a microwave-safe glass 1 cup measure, combine butter with brown sugar and honey. Heat in microwave for 1 minute on high. Stir well. Add spices and stir again. Cool slightly.
  • Pour honey mixture over cereal mixture, stirring gently to coat everything evenly. Sprinkle with salt, if desired. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Add fruit during the final stir and bake 5 minutes more.
  • Cool in pan for 15 minutes, then stir and cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
