2 tablespoons vanilla extract

  • In blender, combine the milk, pudding mix and vanilla; cover and process until blended.
  • Add the bananas and ice; cover and process until smooth.
  • Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately.

1/4 cup hershey's cocoa powder
2 tablespoons sugar or 2 tablespoons sugar substitute
3 tablespoons warm water
1 banana, sliced and of course peeled
2 cups non-fat vanilla yogurt, frozen
1 1/2 cups ice cold skim milk

Steps:

  • stir cocoa and sugar together in a small bowl.
  • add warm water and mix well.
  • in a blender, place banana and cocoa mixture.
  • cover blender and blend smooth.
  • add frozen yogurt and milk.
  • cover and blend until smooth.
  • serve.
  • idea for kids during summer months is to put in ice cube trays and wrap ice trays with plastic wrap stick round toothpicks or 1/2 popsicle sticks into center of each ice cube and freeze for a summer day treat.

1 tablespoon chocolate syrup (optional)

1 scoop whey protein powder or 1 scoop soy protein powder
1/2 teaspoon cocoa powder
10 drops liquid stevia (chocolate) or 1 (1 g) packet Sweet 'n Low
1 cup ice

Steps:

  • Blend all in blender. Some like to add a shot of espresso. I plan to try this soon w/ strong decaf frozen in ice cube trays, substituting for some of the ice.
