1-10" Whole grain, whole wheat pastry crust.
Pie Crust(if making)
1-1/2 cup whole grain, whole wheat pastry flour.
1 stick + 1 tbs unsalted butter.
1/4 tsp salt
1/4cup splenda(or equal amount of other artificial sweetener.
3-4 tbs ice water(if making pie crust)
Filling-
2 cups sugar-free imitation honey,6 eggs, 2 cups granular splenda,4 tbsp butter (slightly melted),2 tsp vanilla extract (w/o corn syrup or sugar added),1/4 tsp salt,2-1/2 cups pecan halves(Russells or good quality native pecans are key to a good pie)

Steps:

  • Homemade crust- Grease pie plate with butter or non-stick cooking spray, In food processor, pulse flour, splenda & salt,pulse in cold butter until crumbles form, pulse in enough ice water to hold dough together, flatten into a disk. Place sheets of saran wrap on damp counter top and put disk of pie crust in center, cover with sheet of saran wrap and roll out to 12" diameter,remove top saran wrap, pick up bottom saran wrap and flip onto pie plate. Remove saran wrap and flute crust w/fork and make small punctures in bottom of crust. Filling- In a large bowl, combine honey, eggs, splenda, butter, vanilla & salt until well-blended (difficult to get well-blended). Reserve 2/3 cup of filling, seperate 1 cup of imperfect pecan halves and coarse chop, Stir chopped pecans into filling and pour in pie shell. Arrange remaining pecan halves of top of pie, drizzle reserved filling over top of pecans on pie. Pie shell should be placed on a cookie sheet before filling and slide in oven, bake at 350F for 50 minutes, "tent" pie loosely w/aluminum foil, & continue baking for 25-35 minutes, until the middle is set and a sharp knife inserted in the middle comes out relatively clean. It is mandantory to make sure the center is set, as this is a deep dish and takes longer to cook thoroughly. Let cool 3 hr on oven rack, then refrigerate for an additional 3 hours.

3 eggs
1 cup Splenda granular
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/4 cups pecans
1 -9 inch deep dish pie shell

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a large bowl combine the honey, eggs, Splenda, butter and vanilla until well blended.
  • Stir in pecans and pour into deep dish pie shell.
  • Bake for 50-55 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool; Top with a dabble of Cool Whip Lite if desired and enjoy!

5 teaspoons sugar substitute
1 cup sugar-free maple syrup
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 cup pecan halves
9 inches pie crusts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Mix eggs with the sugar substitute. Then stir in the syrup, melted butter, and pecan halves.
  • Line a 9-inch pie pan with dough. Pour in filling and cover edges of pie with foil.
  • Bake for 25 minutes, remove foil, and then bake for another 25 minutes or until you can insert a knife and it comes out clean.

5 tsp granulated splenda
1 c sugar free breakfast syrup
1/3 c melted butter
1 1/2 c pecans, halves
1 9" refridgerated pie crust

Steps:

  • 1. Pre heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix eggs and Splenda. Stir in breakfast syrup. Add in melted butter. Mix well. Add in pecans, and mix well.
  • 2. Place pie crust in a 9" pie pan. Fill crust with the pecan mixture. Cover with foil.
  • 3. Bake covered for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes have passed, uncover the pie so the crust browns. Bake an additional 25 minutes, or until a knife comes out clean. Steps:

  • 1. 1 refrigerated pie crust for a 9 inch pie 5 teaspoons sugar substitute for baking 1 cup of sugar free breakfast syrup 1 teaspoon of vanilla 3 eggs 1 cup of pecan halves 1/3 cup of melted butter
  • 2. Start by preheating the oven to 350. For pie crust I tend to cheat and get one of those pre-made refrigerated pie crusts. Pop one of those into a 9-inch glass pie pan per directions on the box for a one crust filled pie. Then in a large bowl, mix 3 eggs with 5 teaspoons of a sugar substitute that's suitible for baking such as equal. Stir in a cup of sugar free breakfast syrup, a teaspoon of vanilla and 1/3 cup of melted butter. Stir in a cup of pecan halves and pour it into the pie crust. Bake this for 40 to 50 minutes or the until filling is puffed and pie is golden brown. Cool completely (should take about 2 hours or so) before serving.

1 pilsbury refrigerated unbaked 9-inch pie crust
1 c granular splenda
3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
3/4 c sugar free maple syrup
3/4 c cup water
2 eggs slightly beaten,or equivalent in egg substitute
1 Tbsp + 1 tsp reduced calorie margarine
1 tsp vanilla extract
6 Tbsp (1 1/2 oz) coarsley chopped pecans
1/4 c post grape nuts

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate and flute edges. In a meduim bowl,combine Splenda,flour,maple syrup, and water. Add eggs,margarine and vanilla extract.

12 ounces murray brand sugar-free pecan shortbread cookies (1 package)
1/2 cup toasted pecans (ground)
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
36 sugar-free caramels
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
1/4 cup milk
3/4 cup Splenda sugar substitute
3 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup pecans

Steps:

  • Pie crust:
  • Grind the pecans. If you use a blender be careful and not get them to hot or you will have pecan butter.
  • crush the cookies and mix pecans and cookies with the butter. You may want to add a 1/4 (or less) cup of Splenda to sweeten up the pecans. Press into a 9" glass deep dish pie pan.
  • Bake pie crust at 400° for 6 to 8 minutes; cool on wire rack.
  • Filling:.
  • Combine caramels, butter, and 1/4 cup milk in large saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring constantly, 5 to 7 minutes or until caramels and butter are melted; remove from heat.
  • Stir together Splenda and next 3 ingredients. Stir into caramel mixture until thoroughly combined. Stir in pecans. Pour into prepared crust.
  • Bake pie at 400° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°, and bake 20 more minutes. Remove pie to a wire rack to cool.
