This yummy dip recipe got its name because it includes four different kinds of dairy products! It is best served with mini strawberry shortcake skewers.

½ cup heavy cream
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 ½ teaspoons strawberry jam
1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 ¾ teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons white sugar
½ teaspoon salt
¼ cup shortening
1 egg yolk
½ cup buttermilk
12 toothpicks
½ pound strawberries, cut into 1/2-inch slices
1 tablespoon strawberry jam

Steps:

  • Beat heavy cream in a large bowl with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
  • Cream together cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, milk, and 1 1/2 teaspoon strawberry jam in a separate large bowl.
  • Fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Whisk together flour, baking powder, white sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
  • Cut in shortening with a knife or pastry blender until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Beat together egg yolk and buttermilk in a small bowl, then stir into the flour mixture until moistened.
  • Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for five or six turns. Pat or roll the dough out into a 1/2 inch thick round.
  • Cut dough out with a 1-inch biscuit cutter and place on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Cool on the sheet for 10 minutes before removing to cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Cut the cooled biscuits in half .
  • Skewer half a biscuit on a toothpick, followed by a strawberry slice and another biscuit half.
  • Swirl 1 tablespoon strawberry jam decoratively into the chilled dip and serve with the strawberry shortcake skewers.

1/2 cup sliced fresh strawberries, green tops removed
2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons sugar
1/3 cup sour cream
1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup strawberry jam, stirred
Suggested dippers: Shortbread cookies, pound cake, waffle cookies

Steps:

  • Toss the strawberries with 2 teaspoons sugar in a small bowl. Let sit 20 minutes to macerate.
  • Meanwhile, put the sour cream, 2 tablespoons sugar, and salt in a large bowl and beat with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until smooth. Add the heavy cream and continue to beat until thick and fluffy. Swirl in streaks of the strawberry jam. Transfer to a decorative dip bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve. Top with the macerated strawberries and serve with dippers.

1 can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury™ Grands!™ refrigerated biscuits
2 Tablespoons butter, melted
1 Tablespoon sugar
DIP
1 package (16 oz) fresh strawberries, stemmed and diced
4 Tablespoons sugar
1 Tablespoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon finely grated lemon peel
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 container (6 oz) Yoplait® Original vanilla yogurt
2 Tablespoons thinly sliced fresh mint leaves

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Line large rimmed baking pan with cooking parchment paper. Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Cut each biscuit into 4 strips. Place on pan. Brush top and sides of each biscuit piece with melted butter; sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar. Bake 13 to 17 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes. Meanwhile, in medium bowl, mix strawberries, 1 tablespoon of the sugar, the vanilla and lemon peel. Let stand 5 minutes. Meanwhile, place remaining 3 tablespoons sugar, the cream cheese and yogurt in medium bowl. With electric mixer, beat on medium speed until creamy and smooth. Spread cream cheese mixture on serving plate. Drain strawberry mixture, if necessary; spoon on top of cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with mint leaves. Serve dip with biscuits as dippers.
