Here's a tasty twist on the classic mimosa. To make this refreshing drink friendly for kids or mamas-to-be, substitute lemon-lime soda or ginger ale for the champagne. -Kelly Maxwell, Plainfield, Illinois

Number Of Ingredients 5

7 cups sliced fresh strawberries (about 2 quarts)
3 cups orange juice
4 cups champagne, chilled
GARNISHES:
Optional: Fresh strawberries and orange slices

Steps:

  • Place half each of the strawberries and orange juice in a blender; cover and process until smooth. Press the mixture through a fine mesh strainer. Repeat with remaining strawberries and orange juice. , Pour a scant 2/3 cup strawberry mixture into each champagne flute or wine glass. Top each with about 1/3 cup champagne. If desired, serve each with a strawberry and an orange slice.

1 bottle (25.4 oz) sparkling white wine chilled
1/2 c strawberries, thinly sliced

  • 2. Pour orange-pineapple mixture into champagne flutes until half full. Fill glasses with white wine.

10 strawberries
1/2 cup finely crushed vanilla wafer
2/3 cup strawberry ice cream
10 ounces vanilla vodka
24 ounces 1 bottle champagne
whipped cream

Steps:

  • Run a sliced strawberry around the rim of Champagne flutes. Dip each rim in Nilla crumbs.
  • Into each flute, drop 1 tablespoon strawberry ice cream, then add 1 ounce vodka and top with Prosecco.
