This hearty BBQ Steakhouse Chili is made with tomatoes, beans and a pound each of beef top round steak and extra-lean ground beef.

2 Tbsp. oil
1 lb. beef top round steak, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 lb. extra-lean ground beef
1 onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup A.1. Dry Rub Bold Original
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cans (16 oz. each) kidney beans, rinsed
2-1/2 cups undrained canned no-salt-added diced tomatoes
1 bottle (18 oz.) KRAFT Hickory Smoke Barbecue Sauce
3/4 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add next 5 ingredients; stir. Cook 10 min. or until meat is evenly browned, stirring frequently. Spoon into slow cooker sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Add all remaining ingredients except cheese; stir. Cover with lid. Cook on LOW 7 to 8 hours (or on HIGH 4 to 5 hours).
  • Serve topped with cheese.

4 lbs chili-style ground beef, coarse grind
1 large onion, diced
1 (16 ounce) jar Pace Picante Sauce
1 (16 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon cumin seed
3 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 cups hot water
1 jalapeno (optional)
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Brown chili meat, onion and garlic in a heavy skillet, over medium-high heat.
  • Add oregano, chili powder, cumin, tomatoes, Picante sauce,.
  • and hot water.
  • Bring to a boil, lower the heat and simmer about an hour.
  • Add jalapeno, salt and pepper and cook an additional 15 minutes.

1 Tbsp. oil
1 lb. beef top round steak, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
3 Tbsp. chili powder
2 cans (14-1/2 oz. each) stewed tomatoes, coarsely chopped, liquid reserved
1/3 cup A.1. Original Sauce
1 can (19 oz.) kidney beans, drained
1 can (15-1/4 oz.) whole kernel corn, drained
30 saltine crackers

Steps:

  • Heat oil in large saucepan on medium-high heat. Add meat, half at a time; cook and stir until browned. Remove from pan; drain. Return meat with chili powder to pan; cook and stir 1 minute.
  • Add chopped tomatoes with liquid; bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover.
  • Simmer 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add steak sauce, beans and corn; cook an additional 1 to 2 minutes or until just heated through. Serve with crackers.

This chili is made with steakhouse flavors: sirloin, bacon, steak sauce, and sour cream. Ask your butcher for coarse ground sirloin or you could cut it into very small dice by hand.

1 tablespoon olive oil
4 slices bacon, chopped fine
2 lbs coarsely ground sirloin beef
1 large onion, chopped fine
3 garlic cloves, minced
4 tablespoons chili powder
salt & freshly ground black pepper
15 ounces tomato sauce
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons hot red pepper sauce
2 cups beef stock or 2 cups beef broth
sour cream, for topping
1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped fine

Steps:

  • In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the oil over medium high heat; add the bacon and cook until the fat renders, about 2 minutes.
  • Add the beef and brown, stirring occasionally, about 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Add the onions, cook until softened, about 5 minutes; stir in garlic, a little salt, lots of pepper, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, hot sauce, and beef stock.
  • Heat to boiling, then lower heat and cook until thickened, 6 to 7 minutes.
  • Divide chili into individual serving bowls, top with a dollop of sour cream, and garnish with parsley.

Ingredients:
1 bay leaf
1 diced onion
1 Tbsp white vinegar
1 Tbsp fresh jalapeno pepper (diced)

1 can peeled diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
1 can tomato sauce (8 oz)
1 can kidney beans with liquid (15 oz)
1 lb ground beef
1 c water
Garnish

Steps:

  • Procedure:
  • Get a large sauce pan and preheat it over medium heat. Cook the ground beef until it turns brown. Then, drain the fat.
  • Add the pepper and onion in the saucepan and sauté the ingredients for approximately 2 minutes.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients. Allow the mixture to simmer for about an hour. Occasionally stir the mixture.
  • Serve the chili while it's hot. Garnish with whole jalapeno, diced onion and cheese on top.

2 cups hot water
salt and pepper, to taste
1 fresh jalapeno

Steps:
