1/4 cup sake
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup mirin
2 tablespoons sugar
3/4 lb boneless beef top loin steaks, sliced thin or 3/4 lb boneless chicken, cut into bite size pieces
4 spring onions, roughly chopped

Steps:

  • Pour all Teriyaki Sauce ingredients in a pan. Stir the mixture well.
  • Put the pan on low heat and simmer for a couple of minutes.
  • Remove from the heat and cool the mixture.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan or flat grill until very hot and stir-fry the meat for 2 minutes.
  • Add spring onions and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add Teriyaki Sauce and stir-fry for 1 minute.

Number Of Ingredients 9

Four 5 ounce sirloin steaks
4 teaspoons soybean oil
1 large onion, sliced
8 large mushrooms, sliced thick
2 cups bean sprouts
1/4 cup soy sauce
4 pinches of salt, or to taste
4 pinches of pepper, or to taste
4 dashes of mustard-based steak sauce

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat the broiler 2. Broil the steak until rare, cute into 1 inch cubes. 3. Heat a nonstick skillet and add the oil to the heated skillet. 4. Add the onion and cook until slightly brown and soft. 5. Place the steak cubes in the skillet with the mushrooms and cook to the desired degree of doneness (rare, medium, well-done). 6. Add the bean sprouts and soy sauce. 7. Add the salt and pepper. 8. Add the steak sauce, and serve.

7 ounce sirloin
2 large sliced mushrooms
one onion sliced 1/4 inch thick
3 thinly sliced zucchini cut into bite size strips
2 ounces fresh bean sprouts
1/2 tsp. sesame seeds
vegetable oil
soy sauce
accent
Dipping sauces:
Mustard sauce: (very hot!)
1/4 cup dry mustard
1/2 cup water
2 T. heavy cream
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 tsp. lemon juice
Ginger sauce:
3 small pieces fresh ginger, peeled
pinch of powdered ginger
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup vinegar
1 small sliced onion
1/2 t accent
blenderize on high til mixed

Steps:

  • heat oil in a skillet, sear steak on both sides; remove to cutting board and cut into bite size pieces and return to skillet; add mushrooms and seasonings and saute quickly until cooked to your liking, transfer to warm serving dish; add a little more oil and heat quickly, saute onion, zucchini, sesame seeds, S&P, soy sauce; toss just til tender and transfer to steak plate; add a little more oil and saute bean sprouts till transparent, adding S&P and soy sauce; toss until tender, add to steak; serve with rice and dipping sauces
