Yield Makes 2 1/2 cups

Number Of Ingredients 6

3 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt, or to taste
2 1/2 cups pecan halves (10 oz)

Steps:

  • Put oven rack in middle position and preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Melt butter in a 2-quart saucepan over moderate heat, then stir in Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, pepper, and salt. Remove pan from heat and add pecans, tossing to coat well. Spread in 1 layer in a shallow baking pan and bake until fragrant and a shade darker, 8 to 10 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.

These little bits of yumminess go great over salads, or all along for a snack! So easy and so tasty! I've even added them to my Chex Mix or other party mixes.

3 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups pecan halves

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Melt 3 tablespoons butter in a medium saucepan and add the remaining ingredients one at a time.
  • Add pecans last.
  • Spread out pecans on foil lined cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes per batch.
  • Cool. These are good warm, but better later.

2 Tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp a1 steak sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp kosher or sea salt
1/4 tsp tabasco sauce
2-1/2 c pecan halves

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350º Combine butter, steak sauce, garlic powder, salt and pepper sauce. Lightly toss with pecans until all halves are coated
  • 2. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper Spread pecans in single layer onto cookie sheet
  • 3. Cook for 10-15 minutes until toasty, but not dried out Drain onto paper towel When cool, store in airtight container.
