1 box brownie mix
2 tablespoons bourbon
3 tablespoons butter (softened)
1 ½ cups powdered sugar (sifted)
2-4 teaspoons bourbon (plus additional, as needed)
¼ teaspoon vanilla
Pinch of salt
Optional: Sprinkles

Steps:

  • Spray an 8-inch square baking dish with cooking spray. Prepare brownies according to package instructions, and bake in prepared baking dish.
  • While brownies are still warm, poke little holes all of the top of the brownies with a toothpick. Brush 2 tablespoons of bourbon over the top of the brownies, slowly allowing it to soak in.
  • Allow the brownies to cool completely on a wire rack before frosting.

1/4 cup bourbon
1 cup all-purpose flour

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Beat in bourbon. Combine flour and cocoa; gradually add to creamed mixture, beating until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips. Cover and refrigerate for 1-2 hours., Shape into 1-in. balls; roll in pecans. Place 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350° until cookies are set, 8-10 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes before carefully removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely. Store in an airtight container.

4 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Place butter and chocolate in the top of a double boiler over simmering water. Stir frequently, scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching, until chocolate is melted, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool completely, 10 to 15 minutes.

¼ cup Maker's Mark® Bourbon
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 large eggs
½ cup confectioners' sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. Butter an 8-inch square baking pan, line with parchment paper or foil, and butter the parchment. 2. In a large saucepan, heat the butter and bourbon over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the butter melts. Stir in the cocoa powder until smooth. Remove from the heat and immediately add 1½ cups chocolate chips. Stir until smooth. Let cool slightly. 3. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
