Steps:
- Grease a large bowl with butter and place the Special K in the bowl.
- Grease a 9x13 or 8x11 baking dish. The 9x13 will make thinner bars, the 8x11 bars will be thicker (as pictured).
- Place sugar and corn syrup in a saucepan over medium heat. Heat the mixture stirring occasionally, until the edges start to bubble. Remove the saucepan from the heat and immediately stir in the peanut butter.
- Working quickly (before the mixture cools), pour the peanut butter mixture over the Special K and stir until combined. Scoop into the prepared baking dish and press into an even layer. Proceed with the frosting.
- Place chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in the bowl of a double boiler. Cook, stirring frequently, until melted and smooth. Note: make sure the boiling water is not touching the bottom of your bowl, only the steam.
- Immediately pour the frosting over the bars and smooth into an even layer. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt. Allow several hours for the frosting to firm up, then cut and serve.

SPECIAL K CRUST
I have not tried this recipe. I got this recipe from Ossg Recipe. Use this pie crust in place of graham cracker crusts. Fill it with puddings, gelatin desserts, or sugar free ice cream.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Place the cereal in a plastic bag and seal. Use a rolling pin to crush the cereal into crumbs, turning and shaking the bag frequently to make a consistent crumb. You will have 1 1/2 cups of crumbs.
- Pour crumbs into a medium bowl stir in cinnamon and fructose. Pour in melted butter and stir with a fork until well blended and evenly distributed.
- Press the crumb mixture into pie dish. It will not stick as well as a traditional graham cracker crust, just press gently. It will firm up after baking.
- Bake for 5 to 7 minutes, until set. Cool slightly, then fill as desired.

- In another shallow bowl, beat the egg with the milk. Dip each chicken breast half into the milk mixture, then into the crumb mixture, coating the chicken well with crumbs. Place the coated chicken breasts into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the cereal coating is golden brown, the chicken is no longer pink in the center, and the juices run clear, about 40 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
