1 1/2 qt water
1 qt chicken stock, light
2 Tbsp adobo goya seasoning w/pepper
1 tsp dry cilantro
1 pkg sazon w/culantro and aciote annato
1 can(s) tomato sauce
2 lb pork smoke bones cut up
1/2 lb beef sausage cut in slices
1 boullion cube
4 medium potatoes
1/2 lb punkin vegetable
2 stick of celery
3 carrots, chopped
4 corn on the cob
1/4 c pitted olives
1 bell red pepper chopped
1 medium onion chopped
3 clove garlic minced
1 pkg powdered ham flavor
1 pkg thin spagetti noodle 8 ouce

Steps:

  • 1. IN A BIG POT COOK SMOKED PORK BONES COVERED FOR 40 MINUTES ,THEN CHOP CORN AND PUT IN ALSO CHOP POTATOES ,CELERY AND CARROTS ALSO CUT BEEF SAUSAGE AND ADD SAZON W/CULANTRO AND ACIOTE ANNATO ,DRY CILANTRO , PITTED OLIVES CHOPPED RED BELL PEPPER ,ONION AND GARLIC , CHOPPED PUMKIN ADD BOULIN CUBE, POWDERED HAM FLAVERINGS ADD I QUART CHICKEN STOCK AND I CAN TOMATO SAUCE ADD ADOBO W/ PEPPER , STIR AND TASTE , LET BOIL ,COVERED 30 MINUTES OR UNTIL EVERYTHING IS TENDER AND DONE, IF YOU WANT YOU COULD ADD TO THE BOING G SOUP 1 CUP ELBOW MACARONI OR THIN SAGETTI FOR SOUP SERVES 8 OR MORE. This is one of my favorite soups. So hearty and flavorful! Wonderful on a cool fall evening!

Number Of Ingredients 12

2 lb pork meat, diced
6 medium diced potatoes
1 pkg frozen mixed vegetables
1 can(s) (15 oz.) diced tomatoes
1 small onion, diced
1 pkg frozen corn
2 c fresh shredded cabbage
5 c chicken broth
salt & pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste
2 bay leaves
canola oil for browning

Steps:

  • 1. Sprinkle pork with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Brown pork in oil, in a large skillet; drain off oil.
  • 2. Transfer pork to a 6-qt. slow cooker. Add the remaining ingredients except cabbage. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or until meat is tender. Add cabbage in last hour of cooking. Discard bay leaves. Serve with biscuits or rolls.

1 boneless pork loin chop (4 ounces), cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1/4 pound smoked kielbasa or Polish sausage, chopped
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 celery rib, chopped
1 small carrot, chopped
1 teaspoon butter
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 teaspoon paprika
2 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth
1 small tart apple, chopped
1 small red potato, chopped
1/4 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
1 teaspoon honey

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, cook the pork, sausage, onion, celery and carrot in butter over medium-high heat for 5 minutes or until pork is no longer pink and vegetables are tender. Add garlic and paprika; cook 1 minute longer. , Stir in the broth, apple, potato and five-spice powder. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes or until pork is tender. Stir in honey; cook for 2 minutes or until heated through.

1 (8 pound) pork shoulder roast
1 quart apple cider, or as needed
5 tablespoons white sugar
5 tablespoons light brown sugar
2 tablespoons kosher salt
2 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 onion, chopped
3 cups hickory chips, or more as needed, soaked in water

Steps:

  • Place pork shoulder in a large pot and add enough apple cider to cover. Combine white sugar, brown sugar, salt, paprika, onion powder, black pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl. Mix about 1/4 cup sugar rub into cider; reserve remaining rub.
  • Cover pot and refrigerate for 12 hours.
  • Prepare smoker to about 210 degrees F (99 degrees C). Add enough wood chips to smoker.
  • Pour cider brine into the water pan of the smoker; add onion and about 1/4 cup more sugar rub. Spread remaining rub over pork shoulder. Transfer pork to the center of smoker.
  • Smoke pork until very tender, about 8 hours. Monitor hickory chips and liquid, adding more wood and water, respectively, as needed. Transfer pork to a large platter and cool for 30 minutes before shredding with forks.
