1 package (16 ounces) wide egg noodles
1-1/2 pounds ground beef or turkey
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 jar (26 ounces) spaghetti sauce
1 jar (4-1/2 ounces) sliced mushrooms, drained
1-1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1 package (3-1/2 ounces) sliced pepperoni, halved
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
3 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • Cook noodles according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink, breaking it into crumbles; drain. Stir in the spaghetti sauce, mushrooms and Italian seasoning. Drain noodles. , In a 5-qt. slow cooker coated with cooking spray, spread a third of the meat sauce. Cover with a third each of the noodles and pepperoni. Sprinkle with a third of the cheeses. Repeat layers twice. Press down to compact., Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours or until heated through and cheese is melted.

1 pound elbow macaroni, uncooked
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 pound shredded cheese (use an Italian blend or a combination of 2 or more cheeses such as mozzarella, cheddar, Monterey Jack or fontina)
1 cup water
1 16-ounce jar pizza sauce
8 ounces sliced pepperoni, halved or quartered if large
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

Steps:

  • Place uncooked macaroni in a 6-quart slow cooker. Sprinkle in cornstarch and mix well, making sure that each noodle in lightly coated with cornstarch. Add the rest of the ingredients into the slow cooker. Mix well to combine. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours, stirring after 1 hour. Serve hot.

1 (16 ounce) package kluski noodles
1 ½ pounds ground beef
1 (13.5 ounce) jar marinara sauce
1 (8 ounce) can pizza sauce
1 (3.5 ounce) package sliced pepperoni
2 (6 ounce) cans sliced mushrooms, drained
2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
2 cups grated Cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook kluski noodles in the boiling water, stirring occasionally until cooked through but firm to the bite, about 5 minutes. Drain.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease. Stir marinara sauce and pizza sauce into ground beef.
  • Arrange half of the cooked noodles in the bottom of a slow cooker, cover with half of the ground beef mixture, half of the pepperoni, half of the mushrooms, and half of the cheese. Repeat layering with remaining ingredients, respectively.
  • Cook on Low for 1 1/2 hours.

This recipe idea from Mr Food...I have changed it so it's made the way my family likes it and it is a great recipe to serve for any outside party or BBQ too...my niece used this for her daughters birthday party...all the kids loved it.

16 oz pkg. elbow macaroni, uncooked
2 jar(s) (14 oz. each) pizza sauce
2 can(s) cheddar cheese soup, undiluted
2 c chicken broth
2 pkg (8 oz. each) sliced turkey pepperoni, chopped
1 large green or red bell pepper, chopped
1 or 2 can(s) (2.25 oz. each) olives sliced,black or green
1 Tbsp dried italian seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder with parsley
16 oz bag italian blend shredded cheese, divided

Steps:

  • 1. In a large bowl combine all ingredients except the cheese; then stir in all but 2/3 cup of the cheese.
  • 2. Spoon the mixture into a well greased 6 to 8 quart crock pot; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Cover tightly and cook on low for about 4 1/2 hours, or until macaroni is done.
  • 3. Note: Sometimes I precook the pasta for 4 minutes in boiling water before using in this recipe...both ways work fine.
