2 16 oz boxes frozen pierogies (cheddar)
1 pound smoked Polska kielbasa
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
1 8 oz. block cream cheese, chopped up
2 cups chicken broth
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
sliced green onions (for serving)

Steps:

  • Slice up the kielbasa and place in the crock pot.
  • Top with the cream cheese, the pierogies, salt, pepper and chicken broth.
  • Cook on low for 3 hours.
  • 30 minutes before serving, stir and top with cheddar cheese.
  • Cook until melted
  • Top with green onions and enjoy
  • Serve with a salad to make it a complete dinner.

This Crock Pot Pierogi and Kielbasa Casserole is fast and easy to prepare. It uses store-bought pierogies, cooked kielbasa and melted cheese!

4 cups chicken broth (divided use)
2 (16 ounce) bags frozen pierogies (cheddar or onion) ((I like Mrs. T's brand))
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, (divided use)
1 pound smoked Polska kielbasa
salt and pepper, (to taste)
8 ounce block cream cheese, ( softened to room temperature)
sliced green onions, (for serving)

Steps:

  • Combine three cups of chicken broth, frozen pierogies, cheddar cheese and kielbasa in a 4-6 quart crock pot. Cook on high 3-4 hours, or on low for 6 hours.
  • About thirty minutes before serving, warm up cream cheese with remaining one cup of the chicken broth in microwave until the cream cheese is warm. Or you can warm it up on the stove top. Whisk it together until smooth.
  • Pour this mixture into crock pot. Stir. Top with remaining one cup of cheese. Cover and cook on low for an additional 30 minutes. Then serve! Top with sliced green onions (optional)

3 boxes Mrs T's classic cheddar mini pierogies
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1 pound kielbasa, sliced

Steps:

  • In a saucepan, warm the chicken broth and cream cheese together until the cream cheese has melted. Transfer sauce to crock pot. Add pierogies, cheddar cheese, kielbasa, salt and pepper. Cook on High 3 to 4 hours or on Low 6 to 7 hours until most of the liquid is absorbed.

1 pound kielbasa, cut into 1-inch slices
3 ½ cups chicken broth, divided
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
4 ounces brick style cream cheese
½ cup sour cream

Steps:

  • Place the frozen pierogies, kielbasa, 3 cups of chicken broth, salt and pepper into a 6 or 7-quart slow cooker. Stir to combine.
  • Cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours or LOW for 6-7 hours.
  • About 30 minutes before the cook time is up, place ½ cup of chicken broth, cream cheese, and sour cream in a saucepan. Heat over low heat and whisk to combine.
  • Pour the mixture into the crockpot, and sprinkle in 1 cup of shredded cheese. Stir to combine, cover, and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
  • Uncover, and serve hot with the remaining shredded cheese and sliced green onions. The mixture will thicken as it cools.

1 tsp. caraway seed
8 cups coarsely chopped cabbage (about 1 lb.)
1 onion, chopped
1 pkg. (13 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Natural Uncured Kielbasa Sausage, cut diagonally into 1/2-inch-thick slices
