1 (16 ounce) bottle Catalina salad dressing
1 (14.5 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
1 envelope onion soup mix

Steps:

  • Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker. Pour the salad dressing, cranberry sauce, and onion soup mix over the chicken.
  • Cook on Low 4 to 6 hours.

1 broiler/fryer chicken (3 to 4 pounds), cut up
1 can (14 ounces) whole-berry cranberry sauce
1 cup barbecue sauce
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 celery rib, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Hot cooked rice

Steps:

  • Place chicken in a 3-qt. slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine the cranberry sauce, barbecue sauce, onion, celery, salt and pepper; pour over chicken. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until chicken is tender. Serve with rice. Freeze option: Cover and freeze cooled chicken and sauce in freezer containers. To use, partially thaw in refrigerator overnight. Reheat in a foil-lined 13x9-in. baking dish in a preheated 325° oven until heated through, covering if necessary to prevent excess browning.

1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon pepper
3-1/2 pounds bone-in chicken breast halves, skin removed
1 can (14 ounces) jellied cranberry sauce
1/2 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup Thai chili sauce
1/3 cup orange marmalade
4 teaspoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons cold water

Steps:

  • Combine the garlic powder, poultry seasoning, salt and pepper; rub over chicken. Transfer to a 5- to 6-qt. slow cooker. , In a small bowl, combine the cranberry sauce, chili sauces and marmalade; pour over chicken. Cover and cook on low until a thermometer reads 170°, 5-6 hours., Remove chicken to a serving platter; keep warm. Skim fat from cooking juices; transfer juices to a small saucepan. Bring to a boil.
