12 ounces uncooked linguine
1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon seafood seasoning
1 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1-1/2 cups half-and-half cream
3/4 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • Cook linguine according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook onions and garlic in butter for 1 minute. Stir in seafood seasoning; cook 1 minute longer. Add shrimp; cook for 3-4 minutes or until shrimp turn pink. Remove and keep warm. , Combine flour and cream until smooth; stir into skillet, scraping up any browned bits. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Reduce heat; stir in cheese just until melted. Return shrimp to the pan and heat through. Drain linguine; top with shrimp mixture.

2 tablespoons Thai oil or other flavored cooking oil
10 ounces uncooked medium shrimp, peeled, deveined
1 8-ounce package mixed stir-fry vegetables (including snow peas, carrots, onion and celery; about 3 cups)
2/3 cup canned unsweetened coconut milk
2 tablespoons ginger-flavored or spicy soy sauce
1 teaspoon Thai red or green curry paste
Chopped green onions

Steps:

  • Heat oil in heavy large skillet or wok over high heat. Add shrimp and stir-fry until just cooked through, about 2 minutes. Using slotted spoon, transfer shrimp to plate. Add vegetables to skillet and stir-fry 2 minutes. Add coconut milk, soy sauce and curry paste. Boil until sauce is slightly thickened, stirring frequently, about 2 minutes. Return shrimp and any accumulated juices to skillet. Stir 30 seconds; season with salt and pepper. Transfer to bowl; sprinkle with green onions.

2 carrots, shredded
1 jalapeño pepper, cored and thinly sliced
1/2 sweet onion, thinly sliced
1/2 teaspoon salt, or more to taste
4 ounces flavorful baked ham, cut into thin 2-inch strips
1/2 Napa cabbage (1/2 pound), thinly sliced
4 scallions, green and white parts cut into 1-inch lengths
1/2 red bell pepper, cored, seeded, and cut into 2-inch thin strips

Steps:

  • Make the sauce: In a bowl, combine the sesame oil, soy sauce, and rice vinegar.
  • Add the noodles in batches: Add the eggs, the sauce mixture, and half the noodles to the pan. Toss for 1 minute. Add the remaining noodles and continue tossing for 1 minute more until they are thoroughly combined and the mixture is heated through.

1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons curry powder
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 stalk lemongrass, stalk bottom 4 inches only, minced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon minced ginger
1/2 yellow onion, thinly sliced
1/2 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
3 green onions (2 cut into 2-inch pieces, 1 chopped)
1 lb medium raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon sesame oil

Steps:

  • Make sauce: combine all the ingredients in a bowl; mix well and set aside.
  • Place a stir-fry pan over high heat until hot; add oil, swirling to coat all sides.

1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 ½ tablespoons soy sauce
1 ½ teaspoons white sugar
3 tablespoons peanut oil
1 ½ teaspoons curry powder
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
1 small red bell pepper, diced
1 small red onion, chopped
4 green onions, chopped into 1 inch pieces
1 (12 ounce) package frozen cooked cocktail shrimp
1 ½ cups frozen baby peas
½ (8 ounce) package rice noodles, broken into 3 inch pieces and soaked

Steps:

  • Combine chicken broth, oyster sauce, soy sauce and sugar in a small bowl, and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add curry powder, garlic, and ginger; stir-fry for 10 seconds. Add peppers, onions, and scallions; stir-fry for 3 to 5 minutes. 200g dried rice vermicelli or 3 x 150g Straight to Wok rice noodles
1-2 tbsp sunflower oil
1 tsp chopped ginger
1 tbsp hot curry powder
1 Chinese cabbage, cut into 1cm slices
1 carrot, very thinly sliced
150ml hot chicken stock
1 tsp brown sugar
2 tsp vinegar (any will do)
400g small, cooked, peeled prawns
140g beansprouts
bunch spring onions, thinly sliced
Oriental chilli oil (look for one that contains shrimp paste), to serve)
soy sauce, to serve

Steps:

  • If using dried noodles, place in a heatproof bowl, cover with boiling water and leave to soak for 5 mins, or follow the pack instructions. Drain well.
  • Meanwhile, heat the oil in a wok and stir-fry the ginger for 1 min. Add the curry powder and cook for 1 min more.
  • Add the cabbage and carrot and stir-fry for 2 mins. Mix together the stock, sugar and vinegar and add to the pan with the prawns, beansprouts and drained noodles. Cook until piping hot, then stir through the spring onions, divide between bowls and serve with a splash of chilli oil and soy sauce.

1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup chopped green onion
1 tablespoon magic seafood seasoning
1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup shredded muenster cheese

Steps:

  • Heat butter in a 10-inch skillet over high heat for 1 minute.
  • Stir in green onions and 2 tsp.
  • of the seasoning mix; cook for 1 minute.
  • Add shrimp and garlic; cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes.
  • Stir in cream and remaining seasoning mix; cook for 1 minute.
  • Remove shrimp with slotted spoon.
  • Boil cream in same skillet, whisking constantly, for 2 minutes.
  • Stir in cheese, then add shrimp back to skillet.
  • Serve immediately.
