1/2 orange, juice of
1 (750 ml) bottle dry white wine or 1 (750 ml) bottle dry red wine
2 tablespoons sugar
1 ounce brandy
1 ounce triple sec or 1 ounce Cointreau liqueur
1 orange, thinly sliced
1 lemon, thinly sliced
2 cups ice cubes
1 cup club soda

Steps:

  • Combine juice, wine, sugar, brandy, Cointreau, orange and lemon. Chill.
  • Before serving, add ice and club soda. Serve in a festive pitcher.

½ cup brandy
¼ cup lemon juice
⅓ cup frozen lemonade concentrate
⅓ cup orange juice
1 (750 milliliter) bottle dry red wine
½ cup triple sec
1 lemon, sliced into rounds
1 orange, sliced into rounds
1 lime, sliced into rounds
¼ cup white sugar
8 maraschino cherries
2 cups carbonated water

Steps:

  • In a large pitcher or bowl, mix together the brandy, lemon juice, lemonade concentrate, orange juice, red wine, triple sec, and sugar. Float slices of lemon, orange and lime, and maraschino cherries in the mixture. Refrigerate overnight for best flavor. For a fizzy sangria, add club soda just before serving.

1 lime, thinly sliced crosswise
1 Granny Smith apple, cored and cut into 1-inch pieces
1 cup green grapes, halved
1/4 cup brandy
1 bottle (750 ml) dry red wine, such as Rioja or Cabernet Sauvignon
4 cups (32 ounces) chilled lemon-lime soda
Ice

Steps:

  • In a pitcher or large bowl, combine orange, lime, apple, grapes, brandy, and red wine. Stir to combine and refrigerate 1 hour (or overnight). To serve, add soda and ice.
