Time 5m

Yield 1 drink

Number Of Ingredients 5

8 shiso (Japanese) mint leaves
1/2 lime, juiced
1 teaspoon simple syrup
3 ounces very dry sake
1 ounce plum wine

Steps:

  • Tear up the mint (not too small) into a martini shaker. Crush the mint. Not too much that the mint will be in small pieces, just enough to get the aroma and flavor out. Squeeze in the lime juice. Add a teaspoon of simple syrup. Add ice 2/3rds of the way up the shaker. Add very dry sake. Add plum wine. Shake vigorously. Pour into a tall glass.
