5 cups Reese's Puffs cereal
1 cup natural peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Pour Reese's Puffs cereal into a large bowl.
  • Scoop peanut butter into a small bowl, and microwave for 40 seconds. Remove from microwave and stir in 1/2 cup honey. Microwave for an additional 30 seconds. Remove and stir in vanilla.
  • Pour peanut butter mixture over the reese's puffs, and stir until completely coated.
  • Press mixture into a wax paper-lined baking sheet.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes, or until set up.
  • Cut into bars and serve immediately.

For peanut butter lovers with a sweet tooth! No oven-baking for this recipe it is done on top of the stove. You can double this recipe to fit in a 13 x 9-inch pan. These bars are best if eaten the same day ;-)

3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 (6 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup peanut butter (chunky or smooth)
5 cups Reese's Puffs cereal (slightly crushed if desired)
1/4 cup finely chopped peanuts (optional)
1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows

Steps:

  • Butter a 9x9 or a 8x8-inch square pan.
  • In a 3-quart saucepan melt butter or margarine.
  • Add in corn syrup and chocolate chips, stirring occasionally; remove from heat and stir in peanut butter.
  • Gradually stir in the cereal and chopped peanuts (if using) until completely coated.
  • Gently stir in the marshmallows.
  • Transfer the mixture to the buttered baking dish, then press down with back of the spoon.
  • Let stand about 1 hour until firm.
