My Mother In Law made these and I "borrowed" her recipe. Hubby loves these. When the guys go hunting, they always ask for a couple of pans full of these to take with them. They don't last long!! What could be better?? Pecan Pie in a bar!!

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 Degrees. Grease a 13 x 9 pan. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, one egg and the oil. Mix until crumbly and press into prepaired pan. Bake "crust" for 20 minutes. Meanwhile...
- 2. In the same bowl, with flat mixer blade, beat sugar, syrup, butter and the remaining eggs until well blended. Stir in the pecans and pour over the prepared "crust"
- 3. Bake 45 minutes or until set. Do not over bake as this will cause your bars to be to chewy! Let cool in pan and then cut into bars and serve.
- 4. NOTE: After my "crust" is baked, I take the back of a large wooden spoon and push it all down into the bottom of the pan. If you leave the edges uncovered, they get hard. I also line the pan with parchment paper and spray the paper lightly with cooking spray. When mine are cooled, I loosen them from the edges and turn them onto a large cutting board. Peel off the parchment and flip them back over with another board to cut. For Weight Watchers: 7 points per bar (if they are cut into 20 bars).
