Yogurt Corn Bread Recipe - (4.1/5) image

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 C flour
3/4 C corn meal
1 C plain yogurt
2 to 4 T sugar or honey
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/4 C milk
3 T. melted butter
1 T. oil

Steps:

  • Sift together corn meal, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt into a large bowl. Make a well in the center and add yogurt, egg, milk, melted butter, and oil. Stir together until blended. Transfer into a greased muffin tin or square pan. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 400 degrees 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
