Wicked Tuna image

I was looking for my usual tuna casserole receipe and could'nt find it. I combined a couple of receipes together. It was delicious. This turned out better than the receipe I was looking for!

Number Of Ingredients 13

2 - celery stalks
1 stick(s) butter, melted
- seasoned salt and pepper, to taste
1 clove(s) garlic
1 lg.1smal can(s) tuna, packed in water
2 cup(s) cheddar cheese, shredded
2 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
2 cup(s) pasta shells or pasta of your choice
1/2 - a small onion , diced
1/4 can(s) evaporated milk
1 - sleeve of ritz crackers
3 dash(es) tabasco sauce- optional
note: - you can also add peas, water chestnuts, or broccoli etc.

Steps:

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. In fry pan, saute celery, onion, and garlic. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  • Combine drained tuna, mushroom soup, and evaporated milk (saving 1 cup of cheese, the butter, and the Ritz crackers to top the casserole.)
  • When pasta is cooked, add to tuna mixture. Add 3 dashes of tabasco sauce.
  • When all ingredients are combined, place in a sprayed 9x13 pan. Crunch up the Ritz crackers and put in melted butter. Place on top of the tuna. Add the reserved 1 cup of cheese on top of the cracker mixture.
  • Bake in oven for approximately 30-35 minutes.
