Steps:
- Boil milk and add sugar to dissolve completely.
- Dissolve the gelatin in the cold water.
- Add together the milk mixture and the gelatin mixture.
- Stir in the vanilla.
- Beat in the sour cream.
- Pour into serving bowl and refrigerate till firm.
