Number Of Ingredients 5

2 pound(s) ground beef
1 - 2 pk package(s) french onion soup mix (there are 2 pkgs in each box - use both)
2 - 12 oz package(s) refrigerated crescent rolls
8 - 10 slice(s) american cheese or 16 oz pkg mild cheddar cheese, shredded
- dill pickles, chopped

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9" x 13" baking dish with cooking spray & set aside.
  • In a skillet, brown & crumble the beef with both soup mixes. Drain meat into a colander; using paper towels or a clean dish towel, press down on the beef & squeeze out as much of the liquid as possible.
  • Unroll 1 tube of crescent rolls into the prepared baking dish. Flatten slightly to seal the seams & cover the bottom as necessary. Top with ground beef. Add cheese slices. Top with pickles. Unroll the other tube of crescent rolls over the top, sealing seams & covering the contents in the pan.
  • Bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until the top is golden brown & cheese is melted. Cut into squares & serve.
