Wagon Wheel Salad image

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 (10 1/2-ounce) can tomato soup condensed
2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
16 ounces wagon wheel pasta (rotelle) cooked, drained, and cooled
2 cucumbers pared and diced
2 green bell peppers seeded and diced
1 onion medium, diced
1 (4-ounce) jar pimiento drained and diced

Steps:

  • Combine tomato soup, sugar, vinegar, oil, mustard, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Gently stir in pasta cover and chill 24 hours to marinate.To serve, stir in cucumbers, green peppers, onion, and pimientos. If desired, garnish with green pepper rings.
