5 Tbsp. canola oil
1 small onion, sliced
4 oz. sliced mushrooms
15 oz. ORE-IDA Shredded Hash Brown Potatoes
1/2 VELVEETA Fresh Packs
3 oz. OSCAR MAYER CARVING BOARD Slow Cooked Ham, chopped
1/3 cup TACO BELLĀ® Thick & Chunky Medium Salsa
3/4 cup chili

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Cook onions and mushrooms in 2 Tablespoons oil in a 12" cast iron skillet until onions soft and mushrooms have caramelized. Remove from heat; keep warm.
  • Add 2 Tablespoons oil into skillet over medium high; add potatoes and fry until golden, 5-7 minutes. Add the remaining oil on top and flip; continue cooking until golden, 4-6 minutes.
  • Scatter cheese on top followed by the onion mixture, ham, salsa, and chili. Bake 10 minutes until warm.
