Steps:
- 1. Start by sauteing the onions and the garlic in the canola oil until translucent the add the rest of the vegetables and cook down until slightly wilted.Remove from heat. Add the parsley, salt, pepper and grated cheese, mix well. Set to the side or in the fridge.
- 2. Prepare the dough, combine the flour and salt then the eggs and water. mix well by hand or in a machine.which ever you prefer. Turn the dough out onto the counter that has been dusted with flour, helps to keep your hands dusted too!
- 3. Cut the dough into four equal parts and start with one piece, rolling it into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick or a bit thinner. Cut the dough into circles, place on a floured board or plate and use the scarps in the next batch and so on.
- 4. Fill each circle with 1/2 a teaspoon of mixture, dip your fingers in some warm water or lightly brush some around the edges, fold over and pinch to seal.Place the stickers on a floured dish or plate and freeze until ready to cook.
- 5. To cook these just boil them as you would ravioli, drain then brown them on both sides in a tbsp.of butter until golden on both sides. Serve with Hoisin or Teriyaki, soy sauce. Enjoy!! :)
- 6. This is what toasted groats look like. You can also buy them un-toasted and toast them yourself in a non-stick pan. Just put the groats in the pan dry, toast on medium-high until golden brown.
