Veal Parmigiana, Grandma W image

This was something Grandpa W loved, so Grandma made it for him when veal was on sale.

Number Of Ingredients 10

6 - 4 ounce veal cutlets
1 - egg, beaten
3/4 cup(s) bread crumbs
6 ounce(s) grated parmesan cheese, divided
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
dash(es) pepper
1/8 teaspoon(s) oregano
- olive oil
8 ounce(s) tomato sauce
8 slice(s) mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • Oven to 375 degrees. Dip veal in beaten egg. Combine bread crumbs, half parmesan, salt, pepper and oregano. Coat veal with this mixture. Saute in olive oil until brown. Place in shallow baking dish, pour with tomato sauce and sprinkle with remaining parmesan. Top with mozzarella and bake 20 min.
