Vanilla Brownies image

I love anything vanilla!! and these are wonderful. Like a fat chewy sugar cookie.

Number Of Ingredients 14

BROWNIES
1/2 c butter
12 oz white chocolate baking squares, or 12 oz white chocolate baking chips
1 1/4 c all purpose flour
3/4 c granulated sugar
1 c chopped nuts (optional)
1 tsp vanilla bean paste, ( you can use vanilla extract)
1/4 tsp salt
3 medium eggs
GLAZE
1 1/2 c sifted powdered sugar
3 Tbsp soft butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1-2 Tbsp warm milk

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour one 13x9 inch pan, ( I use Pam with flour)
  • 2. Heat butter and white chocolate over low heat, stirring frequently just until melted. ( mixture may look curdled)Remove from heat and allow to cool for about 10 minutes
  • 3. with a large spoon stir in the rest of the ingredients until well blended
  • 4. Bake 30-35 minutes or until toothpick in center comes out clean. Cool completely
  • 5. In a medium bowl mix all glaze ingredient until smooth and spreadable. spread glaze over the cooled brownies.
