UNSTUFFED CABBAGE ROLLS image

I made this about a year ago and was well liked by my husband. Delicious one pot meal! Easy to make. Enjoy!

Number Of Ingredients 9

1/2 lb ground beef
1 Tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
1/2 medium onion, diced
1 medium clove garlic, minced
1/2 small cabbage
1 can(s) diced tomatoes
4 oz tomato sauce
1/4 c water
1/4 c uncooked brown rice

Steps:

  • 1. Using a big skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Saute the onions until tender.
  • 2. Add ground beef to skillet and cook until brown. Add the garlic. Cook about a minute before adding the remaining ingredients.
  • 3. Now, add the rice. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer about 25 minutes.
