UNCLE PETE'S AVOCADO AND GRAPEFRUIT SALAD image

Number Of Ingredients 9

1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon dried mustard
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons whole celery seed
6 tablespoons grated onion
4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 cup vegetable oil
2 grapefruits, peeled, sectioned, and drained as dry as possible
2 avocados, cut into 3/4 inch cubes

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all ingredients through vinegar. 2. Whisk in vegetable oil. 3. Combine grapefruit and avocado in a bowl, and mix with enough dressing to moisten. You will have dressing left over, which goes well with any fruit salad.
