TURKEY WITH ITALIAN SAUSAGE STUFFING image

20-lb turkey
2 c. uncooked rice
1 lb hamburger
1 lb Italian sausage
2 bunches parsley
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 egg, beaten

Steps:

  • Stuffing Wash, boil rice for 5 minutes, drain. Brown hamburger and sausage. Mix all ingredients and stuff turkey. Turkey Pre-heat oven to 450º. Insert thermometer into the center of the inner thigh muscle. Place turkey in oven and reduce to 350º or 325º for larger birds. Baste every 15-20 min. For stuffed turkey, cook to 180-185º. (20-25 min/lb for birds over 6 lbs.; 18-23 min/lb for birds over 16 lbs.
