Tuna Tomatoes image

This is a simple and easy appetizer. I love the colors on a platter. I also make these with egg salad made the same way... or crab salad... the possibilities are endless!

Number Of Ingredients 9

TUNA FILLING
1 can(s) (5 -7 ounces) white tuna in water
2 stick green onoions (minced fine)
1 stick celery, (minced fine)
1 Tbsp sweet pickle relish
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1 Tbsp mayonnaise (more if needed)
TOMATOES
40 - 50 medium cherry tomatoes (tops removed, hollowed out to hold filling)

Steps:

  • 1. Mix together the filling ingredients.
  • 2. Prepare the cherry tomatoes by cutting the tops off, and scooping out the centers of the tomatoes (freeze the scooped out tomato to add to a differnt recipe).
  • 3. Put the filling into the prepared cherry tomatoes, and put the lids back on top on an angle.
