TUNA MELT CASSEROLE image

Delicious lunch dish

Number Of Ingredients 8

6 ounce(s) rotini pasta
2 can(s) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1.1/2 cup(s) shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup(s) milk
2 can(s) solid white tuna, drained and flaked
2 large tomatoes, each cut into 8 wedges
1 cup(s) crushed club crackers
2 tablespoon(s) unsalted butter, melted

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400 degrees
  • Cook pasta according to package directions, then drain and return to pot
  • Whisk soup, 1 cup cheese and milk in a medium bowl until smooth
  • Stir in pasta and then gently fold in tuna and tomatoes. Transfer to a greased 2 quart baking dish
  • Sprinkle evenly with remaining 1/2 cup cheese
  • Stir together cracker crumbs and butter in a small bowl, sprinkle over noodle mixture
  • Bake until casserole is bubbling and cracker crumbs begin to brown, 15 to 20 minutes
