TRADITIONAL MASHED POTATOES image

Number Of Ingredients 6

12 medium russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
Half-and-Half
Chicken Broth
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
Dash pepper

Steps:

  • Place potatoes in a saucepan and cover with water. Cover with equal parts chicken broth and half-and-half adding just enough to come 1 inch below the top of the potatoes. Bring to a boil; cook for 20-25 minutes or until very tender. Drain well. Add salt and pepper; mash until light and fluffy.
