Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 450. Heat a frying pan (oven-proof) very hot. Add some of the herb butter to it when it's hot (about 1/3 of the butter that comes with the salmon). Sear (skin side up) for just about 1 minute, turn skin side down, put some more of the butter on top of the salmon and put it in the oven. Leave a little butter for the end. It takes about 8 min. unless the pieces are very thick. Just check in at about 8 min. Use 2 forks to pry it apart a bit - it should not be transparent (shiny inside) any more and kind of separate in flakes. Don't want to leave it any longer than necessary because it still cooks a bit while it sits. When you take it out of the oven, throw the rest of the butter in the pan. It will melt quickly and it's a nice sauce to put over the salmon once you put it in a platter. Very easy.
