Thermomix Pizza Dough image

This recipe is easy to prepare in the Thermomix. I usually do it early in the day so that the dough has time to rise several times - which leads to a better texture. But if you're pressed for time, the dough can be made right before use.

Number Of Ingredients 6

280 g water
1 tablespoon yeast
20 g olive oil
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon oregano
500 g flour

Steps:

  • Place the water, yeast, oil, salt and oregano into the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 5 seconds/speed 3.
  • Add the flour Mix 6 seconds/speed 8.
  • Set dial to closed lid position. Knead the dough for 2 minutes/interval speed.
  • Transfer dough to an oiled bowl and allow to rise until double - 45 minutes.
  • Punch down and allow to double again - 45 minutes.
  • Divide the dough into four balls and let rest for 15 minutes.
  • Form the pizzas and add favorite toppings.
  • Bake at 400 degrees F for about 12 minutes, or until browned.
