The Pink Japanese Sauce image

If you love the pink suace that is served with shrimp at Japanese restaurants then you'll really want to try this recipe. I eat it with all the meats that I prepare.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 c mayonnaise but not sald dressing
3 Tbsp melted butter
3/4 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
3 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp rice vinegar
glass or plastic mixing bowl

Steps:

  • 1. Add all of the ingredients to the mising bowl and thoroughly stir to combine.
  • 2. Cover bowl & place into the refrigerator for at least four to six hours. If you can let it stand overnight then that is best as it allows all of the flavors to meld together.
  • 3. You can serve this sauce either cold or at room temperature
